

VHP demands removal of Aurangzeb's grave, Sanjay Nirupam agrees...
politics has erupted over the grave of Mughal ruler aurangzeb built in Chhatrapati Sambhaji nagar (earlier Aurangabad) of Maharashtra. vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh demand that there is no point in preserving Aurangzeb's grave, it should be removed. This demand of Hindu organizations has been supported by cm devendra fadnavis himself as well as the ruling party. Now, shiv sena leader Sanjay Nirupam has also supported this demand.
On the one hand, on the demand of vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to remove Aurangzeb's grave, shiv sena leader Sanjay Nirupam said, "Today when there is a debate going on in the country on the deeds of aurangzeb, such a demand is not unreasonable. Aurangzeb's grave has no meaning in maharashtra, especially in the district named after Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. His grave should be removed from Khuldabad. We hope that the maharashtra government will take steps in this direction as soon as possible."

On the other hand, uddhav thackeray faction leader Anand Dubey said, "Aurangzeb's grave should not have been in India, who is protecting it? The government should have removed the grave as it is in power. If you (state government) have the capability, then throw Aurangzeb's grave into the Arabian Sea, who is stopping you? bjp is doing politics in the name of aurangzeb and it has no intention to remove the grave." Apart from this, NCP-SP chief sharad pawar put forth his side amid the aurangzeb controversy and issued orders to his party workers. He said that whenever the workers talk to anyone on the phone, they should say 'Jai Shivarai' instead of 'Hello'. sharad pawar faction says, "Since we are all soldiers of shivaji Maharaj, we have started talking with the slogan of jai Shivarai."
