Hindu family forced to migrate due to fear of Muslims…?

A case of migration of a Hindu family has come to light in Rampur, after which there has been a stir. A scheduled caste family has put up a migration poster in Kamora village located in Shahjahannagar police station area here. The victim family has given a complaint in the police station and alleged that a person from the Muslim community entered their house with his companions and molested their daughter, abused them and threatened to kill them. The family said in the complaint given to the police that the accused had taken Rs 20,000 in the name of getting their daughter a job. When the girl reached the sewing center for work, she was humiliated and sent back. After this, when the family asked for their money back, the accused got angry and refused to give the money.

There was a dispute between the two sides regarding this, after which the accused forcibly entered their house at night with his companions and molested the girl and tore her clothes. The accused put a knife on the throat of the girl's parents and threatened them to leave the village. Due to fear of which, the victim's family has put up posters of migration outside their house. Taking the matter seriously, the police registered a case on the basis of the complaint and recorded the statement of the victim girl under section 164. The police is investigating this matter thoroughly. At present, the girl of the victim's family also mentioned the action of registering a case by the police and admitted that she did not migrate, saying that the villagers had convinced her.

Additional Superintendent of police Atul Shrivastava said that police is taking action under section 164 in this case. The victim's family is satisfied with the police action and has appreciated it. On being asked about migration, the police officer said that earlier they felt that action was not being taken on their complaint, so they talked about migration, but they have been informed about the action, due to which the victim's family is satisfied. Additional Superintendent of police said that this case is being investigated. Technical evidence is being collected in this case. We will take further action on the basis of whatever facts come to light during the investigation.
