The cabinet minister said that the main reason behind this is that Syed Salar Masood was a foreign invader who came to loot India. Our ancestor Maharaja Suheldev had a fight with him. Maharaja Suheldev ji had destroyed Syed Masood's everything. In such a situation, any event related to a person like Syed Salar cannot be accepted.

A fair named Ghazi mela has been organized in the Saraiyan area of varanasi in the name of Syed Salar Masood alias Ghazi for years. In this matter, bjp minister Anil Rajbhar has also got the support of minister Omprakash Rajbhar. He has also expressed disagreement with this type of fair and event. For now, it remains to be seen what decision is taken by the administration and the government on the fair of Ghazi Miyan to be held in varanasi in the month of May-June.
