Chief Justice of delhi high court expressed displeasure
The delhi government's lawyer in the delhi high court said that no meeting was held that day. He also said that the meeting could not be held due to the assembly elections. On this, the court said that once the court was informed that the meeting would be held on december 10, 2024, still not holding the meeting is not acceptable.
The Chief Justice of delhi high court orally said why is this not a priority? A month has passed since the elections. We do not want mere formality. Do not fool us with your words. Explain this to your officials. What are we asking you for? We are only asking to implement the orders issued by the supreme Court. The court said in its order that at least a month has passed since the elections ended in Delhi. Yet no efforts are visible by the delhi government to ensure funds for pending projects.
