Now passengers will be able to buy tickets in delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses through National Common Mobility Card (NCMC). This facility was started as a trial in the buses of Rajghat and Hasanpur depots, which was successful. Now it has been planned to implement it in all DTC buses.

Passengers will no longer need to keep change for tickets. Due to fare deduction from the card, there will be transparency in transactions and time will be saved. How will it work?
Electronic Ticket Issuing Machine (ETIM) will be provided to the conductors of the buses, in which the fare amount will start appearing as soon as the details of the passenger's destination are entered and then the passenger will be able to pay by tapping his National Common Mobility Card. This card is already being used in Metro and Namo Bharat Train. Now it will also be valid in DTC buses. This facility will be added to 3800 buses of DTC, which will benefit more than 35 lakh passengers daily. With the help of an app, the real-time location of the buses will be tracked, so that the problem of traffic jam due to breakdown of the bus in the middle of the way can be dealt with in a better way. In case of a bus breakdown, the conductor will be able to immediately log in to the app and inform the control room about it. This will provide better service to the passengers and will also improve the services of DTC.
