When did india do the first air strike on Pakistan?

Ever since pakistan became a new country after separating from india in 1947, both the countries have been sworn enemies of each other. There have been many wars between india and Pakistan. Hardly any other neighboring country in the world has fought as many wars as have happened between these two countries. pakistan has not learned a lesson even after losing to india many times. terrorism from pakistan does not seem to stop.

On 14 february 2019, Pakistan's terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed carried out a suicide attack in Pulwama, Kashmir, killing 40 CRPF soldiers. india avenged this by doing an air strike on Jaish-e-Mohammed's hideouts in Balakot, khyber pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. In which the terrorist hideouts were destroyed and many terrorists were killed. But let us tell you that this was not the first air strike that india did on Pakistan.

The first air strike was done in the year 1965

Many people think that the indian government did the first airstrike on pakistan in the year 2019. If you also think the same. Then let us tell you that this is not so. india did the first airstrike on pakistan not in the year 2019 but many years before that during the war of 1965. Let us tell you that the war between india and pakistan started in the month of august in the year 1965.

The Pakistanis had tried to infiltrate the area of Jammu and Kashmir. For this, the indian Army started Operation Gibraltar. And during this time, on 1 september 1965, the indian air Force did an airstrike against Pakistan. In which the posts and supply lines of the Pakistani air Force were targeted. This was the first air strike done by india on Pakistan.
