This comment was strongly condemned by chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma, deputy chief minister Diya Kumari, bjp and congress leaders. Condemning the statement of Samajwadi party mp Rajmilal Suman, cm Bhajanlal Sharma wrote on his x handle, "The beloved sons of rajasthan, the land of heroes, have always given their supreme sacrifice to protect the motherland. The low level statement of Samajwadi party mp about the great warrior of Mewar, Rana Sanga, hurts not only the 8 crore people of rajasthan, but the entire countrymen." cm Bhajanlal Sharma targeted

He further wrote, "Calling a great warrior who suffered 80 wounds on his body in the war with the Mughals, a traitor shows the poor mentality of the opposition leaders. These people do not hesitate to insult historical figures for the appeasement of votes. For this, SP national president akhilesh yadav should immediately apologize to the country and take immediate action against his MP."

Diya Kumari criticized the statement

Apart from him, the state's deputy chief minister Diya Kumari said, "Veer Shiromani Maharana Sanga ji, whose tale of bravery is heard from every particle of Rajasthan's soil. Children here have grown up listening to the tale of his bravery, the word 'traitor' used for a patriotic warrior who fought for the country even after suffering 80 wounds, is an insult not only to Maharana Sanga and rajasthan, but also to the bravery and sacrifice of the country." The deputy cm further wrote, "This statement of SP mp Ramji Lal suman is shameful and reprehensible. He should publicly apologize for these harsh words that tarnish the valor of the country."

At the same time, Union minister and jodhpur mp gajendra singh shekhawat also condemned the statement of the SP MP. He said, "Those who review the history of india after a thousand years or whenever they review it, will never be able to compare Babar and Rana Sanga.
