Elevated four-lane will be built on rivers in Dehradun!

The government has prepared a master plan to solve the problem of increasing traffic jams in dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Under this, a four-lane elevated road will be constructed over the Rispana and Bindal rivers. This project will ease the traffic system in the city and passengers will get relief from long jams.

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed the officials regarding the project that the construction work should be expedited and it should be completed within the stipulated time. The objective of the project is to reduce the traffic pressure on the main roads of dehradun, which will reduce the travel time and also reduce pollution. Due to the ever-increasing traffic in dehradun, the city dwellers have to face the problem of jam. Especially during office time and school-college opening and closing times, vehicles are stuck in jams for hours.

There is excessive traffic pressure in the area around Rispana and Bindal rivers. Currently, thousands of vehicles pass through both these areas daily, causing road jams. The government believes that the construction of elevated road will reduce the traffic load and make travel easier. This will save people's time and also control pollution in the city.

Four-lane elevated road: Four-lane elevated road will be constructed over Rispana and Bindal rivers.

Length and route: This road will be about 11 km long, which will connect major routes.

Construction cost: The estimated cost of the project will be around Rs 2000 crore.

Time limit: The government aims to complete the project in the next three years.

After the construction of the elevated road, the city residents will get great relief from traffic. There will be relief from the hours-long traffic jams in dehradun and people's travel will be easy. There will be relief from the traffic jams especially during office hours and at the time of opening and closing of schools and colleges. After the completion of the project, the residents of dehradun will not only get better traffic system, but environmental pollution in the city will also be reduced.
