In the meeting of the Bar Association, the lawyers have also demanded action against the Uncle Judge Syndrome. Under this, the family members of a judge should not practice in the court where there is a judge. The Bar Association has also demanded that the vacant posts of judges in the allahabad high court should be filled.
The Bar Association has also demanded a review of the decisions given by Justice Yashwant Verma. The proposals were passed in the general body meeting chaired by high court Bar Association President Senior Advocate Anil Tiwari. allahabad high court lawyers were also on a half-day strike today over the issue of Justice Yashwant Sharma.
