DNA data of 15 million Americans is in danger!

People's data has been stolen before as well

In october 2023, hackers had obtained personal data of about 7 million people. According to a report by 404 Media, this data included people's health information based on their genetics.

The company is facing more than 50 types of lawsuits

The company said in its documents, "The company is facing more than 50 class action and state court lawsuits and about 35,000 claimants have filed and are threatening to file for arbitration claims." The company has collected dna of 1.5 crore people

According to Bloomberg's report, 23andMe has collected saliva samples of more than 15 million customers. According to the report, now this data can be sold under the supervision of the court.
