Uddhav faction leader attacks Nitesh Rane...
shiv sena (UBT) Legislative Council member Anil Parab on tuesday (March 25) targeted maharashtra minister and bjp leader Nitesh Rane, accusing him of making divisive and dangerous remarks.
In the maharashtra Legislative Council, Parab also targeted Nitesh Rane for "calling himself the protector of Hinduism" and said that he cannot dictate to people what they should eat. Without naming Rane, the shiv sena (UBT) leader said, "There is a Nepali minister in maharashtra who believes that hinduism is safe because of him. Let me make it clear to him that we are fully capable of protecting our religion." He said that the late balasaheb thackeray has taught him to maintain Hindutva values without doing injustice to any other religion.
Rane had launched Malhar Certification
Let us tell you that Rane, who represents the Kankavali assembly constituency in coastal Sindhudurg district, is the minister of Fisheries and Port Development. Nitesh Rane had earlier this month announced the launch of a platform called 'Malhar Certification', which aims to certify 'Jhatka' mutton shops run by members of the Hindu community. Cutting animals with a sharp weapon in one go is called Jhatka meat.
'No one can decide what others should eat'
Anil Parab targeted Rane on this issue and said, "A minister suddenly comes out and tells people what kind of meat to buy. Such statements are dangerous and can create tension between communities. No one can decide what others should eat. Whether it is Jhatka or Halal. This cannot become an issue of law." 'Rane is presenting himself as the protector of Hinduism' He said, "There are already housing societies in mumbai where non-vegetarians face discrimination while buying property. Such attitude should not be encouraged." Parab alleged that Rane is trying to present himself as the protector of Hinduism.
