She also stated stabilizing the centralized database will take around a few weeks, following which the frontend for UPI integration will become geared up.
Dawra additionally pointed out different developments seen through the EPFO, which currently has around 7.5 crore active participants who hold their Provident Fund debts and make contributions closer to their pension.
"Claims up to ₹1 lakh had been computerized, self-correction mechanisms were introduced, and needless procedures were removed," she said. "Additionally, we've incorporated databases, lowering the declare processing time to just three days."
She also highlighted that though there are 78 lakh pensioners inside the EPFO, only a few banks had been notified for pension disbursement earlier.
"However, we sought advice from the reserve bank of india (RBI), and now we have applied a centralized pension device," she stated. "Pensioners are making the most of this as they could now get hold of their pension from any financial institution."
