

CM Bhajanlal Sharma's important step regarding law and order!
The state government is continuously working to strengthen the law and order in Rajasthan. Taking a step in this direction, chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma flagged off 150 new police vehicles during the rajasthan Day program on march 27. He said that the rajasthan government is fully committed to strengthening the law and order in the state. He said that necessary resources are being provided to the jail department to strengthen and modernize all the jails in the state.
review meeting after deputy chief minister received threat
The chief minister held a review meeting with the officials of the home Department at his residence. This meeting took place when deputy chief minister Premchand Bairwa received death threats from some anti-social elements lodged in jaipur Central Jail. Three people have been detained in this case.
Strict instructions on use of phones by prisoners
The cm directed the jail department officials to take strict action on incidents of use of mobile phones by prisoners in the jail premises. He said that regular and surprise search operations should be conducted in all the jails. He directed the officials to give priority to jail security and make security measures more effective. Along with this, he directed to increase the number of CCTV cameras as per requirement to strengthen the surveillance system in the jail premises. He said that high quality cameras should be installed in all the jails, so that any illegal activity can be monitored immediately.
The chief minister also directed to expedite the construction work of the new video conferencing room in the jail premises, so that the prisoners can be presented in the court through video conferencing. This will not only improve the security system, but will also speed up the court proceedings. He suggested the officials to make more use of modern technologies in the jails, so that the illegal activities of the criminals can be effectively stopped. These initiatives of the government will help in making the law and order in the state more effective, which will provide a safe environment to the citizens.
