Kunal Kamra's troubles increase in Eknath comment case!
A total of four FIRs have been filed against comedian Kunal Kamra so far for making controversial comments on maharashtra Deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde. All these FIRs have been transferred to Mumbai's Khar police for investigation. The first FIR has been filed by shiv sena MLA Murji patel at Andheri's MIDC police station.
The second FIR was filed on the basis of a complaint by Mayur Borse, a resident of Manmad, Nashik. The third FIR was filed on the complaint of Buldhana resident Sanjay Bhujbal, while the fourth FIR was filed on the complaint of Nashik city hotelier sunil Jadhav. All these FIRs have been filed under sections 353 (1)(B), 353(2), 356(2) of the BNS.
The complainants claim that Kamra made derogatory remarks against maharashtra Deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde, which has led to animosity between the two political parties. A total of four FIRs and two non-cognizable offences have been registered against Kunal Kamra. One non-cognizable offence was registered at Dombivali police station in thane city and the other was registered at Wagle State police station in thane city on the complaint of yuva Sena member Rupesh Mishra.
Kunal Kamra gets anticipatory bail
On Friday, Kunal Kamra approached the madras High Court. He filed a petition for anticipatory bail in the High Court. In the petition for anticipatory bail, Kamra argued that he is from Vallupuram district of tamil Nadu. He fears being arrested by the mumbai Police. After this, Justice Sundar Mohan has ordered interim anticipatory bail till april 7 with conditions in this case.
What is the matter?
Actually, comedian Kunal Kamra had taunted Maharashtra's Deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde in one of his shows. Kunal Kamra had said in the style of a song, "Thane ki rickshaw, beard on the face, glasses in the eyes, hai.... Ek Jhalak Dikhalaye Kabhi, guwahati Me Chhup Jaye. Meri Nazar Se Tum Dekho, gaddar Nazar Woh Aaye..." This taunt of his was posted on x by shiv sena (UBT) mp Sanjay Raut. After this, there was an uproar.
In such a situation, Eknath Shinde's group got angry with this statement of Kamra and also protested outside his office. Apart from this, the hotel where Kunal taunted Shinde was vandalized and now a case has also been registered against him.
