'Half Marathon'-CM Naib Singh saini said- 'Healthy life's...'

A 'Half Marathon' was successfully organized in Haryana's Sonipat district to spread awareness against drug abuse and promote fitness. This 21-km race started at 5:30 am today from Deen Bandhu Chhotu ram university of Science and technology (DCRUST) in Murthal and ended here. cm Naib Singh saini also attended the event and flagged off the half marathon. cm also participated in it.

cm Naib Singh saini tweeted on his social media handle X and said, "Drug free Haryana, empowered, strong, golden Haryana. Today, with the aim of spreading awareness against drug abuse and promoting fitness, I flagged off the 'Half Marathon' organized in Sonipat and encouraged everyone."

He said, "More than 60 thousand youth of Haryana, who participated in the marathon, took a pledge to end drug addiction and ran with the participants. Take steps towards a healthy life, make 'Fit Haryana, Hit Haryana', with this wish I congratulate and wish everyone on the holy festival of Navratri."

Separate race for senior citizens of 60 to 80 years

Calling it inspirational, cm saini said, "Sports is an excellent medium to fight drug addiction. Our goal is to keep the youth away from drugs. Through sports, we are giving them a positive direction. On the first Navratri, everyone should take a pledge that they will keep drugs away from their lives." Let us tell you that in this half marathon, a separate race was also organized for senior citizens of 60 to 80 years, in which their energy and enthusiasm was worth seeing.
