However, in some states, banks are also closed due to regional holidays. There are school and college holidays on the occasion of Eid. However, its schedule may be slightly different in different states. But, the Income Tax Department has announced that all their offices will remain open on march 31, so that the taxpayers can file their updated income tax returns before the last date. It is worth noting that the last date for filing updated income tax returns for the assessment year 2023-24 is march 31.

Apart from this, public transport services like bus, train and metro will run normally as before. Hospitals, and its emergency services and essential services will also continue to function as before, so that people do not face any problems.
