CM fadnavis said on Waqf Bill, 'Let's see if uddhav thackeray flatter...'

The Waqf Amendment Bill will be brought in the lok sabha on wednesday (2 April) for passing. Regarding this, maharashtra Chief minister devendra fadnavis has taken a dig at shiv sena (UBT) chief uddhav Thackeray. He has questioned whether uddhav thackeray will be able to maintain the views of balasaheb thackeray regarding this bill?

CM devendra fadnavis wrote on the social media platform X, "Waqf Amendment Bill in parliament tomorrow. Let's see if uddhav thackeray will maintain the views of Hindu Hriday Samrat and shiv sena founder balasaheb thackeray or will he follow in the footsteps of rahul gandhi and keep flattering him?"

There is a possibility of uproar in lok sabha on the issue of Waqf Bill

There is every possibility of uproar in the lok sabha on the issue of Waqf Bill on Wednesday. Leaders of opposition parties are continuously opposing this bill. Union minister Kiren Rijiju has said that in the meeting of the business Advisory Committee of the house chaired by lok sabha Speaker Om Birla, a consensus has been reached for 8 hours of discussion on this bill. However, the time can also be increased as per the sentiment of the House.

Allies of the india Alliance have walked out of the meeting and accused the Modi government of suppressing their voice. However, even if there is a deadlock in parliament on this issue, it is unlikely to make much difference because the ruling nda has the numbers in its favor in the Lok Sabha.

Congress accuses the central government

Congress Deputy leader in lok sabha gaurav gogoi alleged that his voice was not being heard. He said, "Opposition parties were demanding more time for discussion and wanted that issues like the situation in Manipur and the controversy related to voter ID card should also be discussed in the House."

AIMIM chief asaduddin owaisi said that during the discussion on this bill in the house, he will explain how it is 'unconstitutional'. He alleged that this bill has been brought with the aim of controlling the religious rights of Muslims and the public will teach a lesson to BJP's allies like telugu desam party (TDP) and JDU. nda has 293 MPs out of 542 members in the lok sabha and bjp has been successful in getting the support of some independent members on many occasions.
