What did RJD mp Manoj Jha say on Waqf Amendment Bill?

The central government is going to introduce the Waqf Amendment Bill in the lok sabha on wednesday (April 01, 2025). The opposition is against this bill. Be it Chandrababu Naidu's TDP, chief minister Nitish Kumar's JDU or Union minister Jitan ram Manjhi's party, everyone has supported the central government on the Waqf Amendment Bill. Now a statement has come from RJD mp Manoj Jha regarding this bill.

While talking to journalists in delhi on tuesday (April 01, 2025), mp Manoj Jha said, "There will be a broad discussion. How is this unconstitutional. How is a strategy being made to attack minorities by separating them one by one. The Constitution is torn to shreds in 90% of their bills."

On the question that Tejashwi Yadav, who is the head of your party, has said that this (Waqf Amendment Bill) is an unconstitutional bill and this law of nagpur is being imposed. On this Manoj Jha said, "Absolutely right. This is unconstitutional. We had folded our hands and said at the time of agricultural laws that do not pass it, had to take it back."

On the other hand, it has been decided that all the MPs of RJD will be present in the lok sabha to vote against the Waqf. At the same time, india Alliance has also held a meeting of floor leaders in parliament House. congress President mallikarjun Kharge and leader of Opposition in lok sabha Rahul gandhi were present in it. In the meeting, the Waqf Bill was discussed with the floor leaders of rajya sabha and Lok Sabha.
