He said that uddhav thackeray seems confused on the Waqf Bill. Eknath Shinde said, uddhav thackeray is speaking the language of Asaduddin Owaisi. By opposing the Waqf Board, UBT has revealed its true face, it is unfortunate. By going with the Mahavikas Aghadi in 2019 and opposing Waqf yesterday, uddhav thackeray has bowed his head down. 'People will teach a lesson in the elections'

Shinde alleged that uddhav Thackeray's politics is based on this principle, due to which discontent is growing in his party.

Eknath Shinde said, "By taking a decision against the Waqf Amendment Bill, shiv sena (UBT) has exposed its true face." He alleged that this protest has made their dual role clear and it shows that they have abandoned the values of Hindutva, according to Shinde, by opposing this bill, uddhav thackeray has distanced himself from the ideas of balasaheb Thackeray.
'A bigger sin than forming the government in 2019'
deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde further said, "Uddhav thackeray has committed a bigger sin by opposing this bill than forming the government with the congress in 2019 for personal gain." He claimed that through the Wakf Amendment Bill, forcibly occupied lands will be freed, which will benefit poor Muslims. Shinde accused the congress of wanting to keep Muslims poor forever and hence opposing this bill.
