Sanjay Raut taunts bjp over Waqf Bill...
shiv sena UBT mp Sanjay Raut targeted bjp and the central government in rajya sabha over the Waqf Bill. He said that the central government has brought this bill to divert attention from the real issues. Raut said that since when did those who call Muslims thieves start worrying about them.
Speaking on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024 in the rajya sabha, shiv sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut said, "I am seeing that people in both the Houses have suddenly started worrying about poor Muslims. It has happened so suddenly that I, Hindus and Muslims, all are scared. I heard Union minister Kiren Rijiju. Even Barrister Jinnah did not care so much about Muslims. It seems that his soul has entered your body.
'Strategy to divert from real issues'
He further said, "I used to think that we were making a Hindu nation, but now after seeing all this I feel that you are planning to make it a new pakistan of Hindutva. This bill is a plan to divert people's attention. Yesterday trump imposed 26 percent reciprocal tariff on india and the same day you brought this bill, the discussion should have been on this tariff, but the central government brought this bill to divert attention from this issue. When economic issues should have been discussed, religious issues are being discussed."
Since when did you start worrying about Muslims - Raut
You people (BJP) are talking about the interests of Muslims, since when did you start worrying about them. It is you people who call Muslims thieves, terrorists, talk about not buying meat from Muslim shops in maharashtra and now you are worried about the land of Muslims.
'You have come to buying and selling'
Sanjay Raut further said, "The home minister had said yesterday that we will not touch mosques, dargahs and madrasas built before 2025 but will sell the vacant land for the welfare of Muslim women, after all you (central government) have come to buying and selling."
