Double blow to nitish kumar, after Qasim Ansari…

It seems that bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar's party has made a mistake by supporting the Waqf Amendment Bill. After Mohammad Qasim Ansari, JDU leader Mohammad Shahnawaz Malik has also resigned. He was the district president of Jamui. He was also the state secretary of the Minority Cell. JDU has supported the Waqf Amendment Bill and this is the reason behind the resignation.

Shahnawaz Malik has written this resignation letter to JDU national president and bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar. He has resigned from the primary membership and other responsibilities of the party. Shahnawaz Malik has also informed about this (copy of the copy) to JDU state president Umesh Kushwaha. The party's minority state president Mohammad Ashraf Ansari has also been informed about this in writing.

What has Malik written in the letter?

The resignation letter is dated thursday (April 03, 2025). JDU leader and candidate in the assembly elections Mohammad Qasim had written the same thing in his resignation letter which Shahnawaz Malik has also written. In fact, the entire line is the same. Malik has written in his resignation letter for cm nitish kumar, "Millions of indian Muslims like us had unwavering faith that you are the flag bearer of purely secular ideology, but now this belief has been broken."

'I say goodbye to both JDU and Nitish Kumar'

Shahnawaz Malik said that it is very unfortunate that nitish kumar has supported the Waqf. Due to this, I am resigning today. The way Lallan Singh has put forth his point with such attitude is very sad for us. After a lot of waiting, after a lot of hope, after the whole matter has come to light, we Muslims are heartbroken. I say goodbye to both JDU and Nitish Kumar.
