We will not travel by auto or e-rickshaw…, Sheila Mandal's blunt answer!

From april 1, auto and e-rickshaws have been completely banned for children to go to all schools in the state. On the request of the Transport Department, patna Police Headquarters has also issued orders to all the district SSPs and SPs to take action. At the same time, protests are also being held continuously against this.

There is no change in the rule - Sheila Mandal

For the last two days, the auto drivers Union and E-Rickshaw drivers Union have started a movement against the government by protesting at Gardanibagh Dharna Sthal and have decided to seek refuge in the court, but in response to this movement, Transport Department minister Sheila Mandal has bluntly replied that there is no change in this rule. On the continuous agitations by the auto, E-rickshaw Association and the demand to withdraw this rule, minister sheela Mandal said that questions have been raised many times regarding the operation of autos, so first of all, the color code has been made auto, so that there is no problem of jam. After that, many such incidents have happened in the case of schools, in which children traveling in tempo, e-rickshaw have also died in road accidents.

The main reason for this is that auto and e-rickshaw drivers carry more children than the number required. Many guardians also came to us regarding this problem, so the Transport Department has done this work keeping in mind the safety of the children. Our department always works for the benefit of the general public. Everyone has this in mind that if the children are safe, then the family will be safe.

There are talks that such a decision has been taken to help the capitalist bus owners. On this, sheela Mandal said that when such things happen, those who are against it, talk nonsense. On the increasing burden on the guardian's pocket, he said that how will the burden increase, have we not educated our children. It is not that our children have not been educated. There should be a provision for children to sit in the vehicle, children are completely safe in the bus and right now it is summer, there is no chance of heat stroke in the bus.
