sunni waqf board had given notice

Actually, bihar State sunni waqf board had issued a notice to the families of both Hindu and Muslim communities to vacate a land in Govindpur, calling it their property. This notice had created an atmosphere of tension in the village. The victims had filed a petition in the high court against this decision, where they got relief.

Considering the seriousness of the matter, Parliamentary Joint Committee member Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal, Minority Welfare minister Jama Khan and former candidate E. Satyendra Kumar Singh also visited Govindpur. They had assured justice to the victims.

The arbitrary actions of the Waqf Board will be curbed

The villagers say that they have seen a new hope from the Waqf Amendment Bill passed by the Central Government. The provisions of this bill will curb the arbitrariness of the Waqf Board and increase the possibility of the victims getting justice.

At the same time, many Muslim leaders of JDU have opposed this bill. They say that this bill violates the fundamental rights of the Constitution. Muslims are being targeted through this law and it is also against the Pasmanda community. These leaders say that this decision is like insulting Muslims.
