Maharashtra congress targets support for Waqf Bill…

The Waqf Amendment Bill has been passed by both the houses of Parliament. The political atmosphere is still heated. After voting in both the houses, it became clear who was in favour of it and who was against it. Meanwhile, maharashtra congress Chief Harshvardhan Sapkal targeted ncp chief and state deputy cm Ajit Pawar. The congress leader said that supporting this bill shows Ajit Pawar's helplessness towards power and his political hypocrisy. Targeting the bjp, he said that this bill is a trick to scare Muslims and grab thousands of acres of land.

Voting figures in rajya sabha and lok sabha                

After a long debate in both the houses of Parliament, the lok sabha passed the Waqf (Amendment) Bill on thursday and the rajya sabha passed it late on thursday night. In the rajya sabha, 128 members voted in favour of the bill while 95 voted against it, after which it was passed. The lok sabha approved the bill on april 3. 288 members in the lok sabha supported the bill, while 232 opposed it.

The bill aims to streamline the management of Waqf properties (property permanently donated by Muslims for religious or charitable purposes), including provisions for the protection of heritage sites and promotion of social welfare. Supporting Waqf is a sign of Ajit Pawar's helplessness - Congress

Sapkal said on friday (April 4), "Ajit Pawar's support to the Waqf (Amendment) Bill is a sign of his helplessness towards power. Their secular mask has been exposed and they have betrayed the Muslim community." He alleged that after forming an alliance with the bjp and joining the government, ajit pawar and his ncp had claimed that they had not abandoned the legacy of Chhatrapati shivaji Maharaj, mahatma Phule and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, but now their real face has been revealed.
