A tragic accident has happened in Alegaon Shivra in Nanded district of Maharashtra. In this accident, a tractor carrying female farm laborers fell into a well. 8 people have died in this accident. This accident happened at 9 am when women laborers from Hingoli district were going to the field by tractor to harvest turmeric. On the way, the driver was not aware of the well, due to which the tractor fell directly into the well. Soon after this accident in Nanded, local people and rescue teams started relief work. Some women have been evacuated safely, while the search for others is on. The area was slippery due to rain, due to which this accident happened. local administration and police are present on the spot. Relief and rescue work is going on.
The death toll is likely to increase
Efforts are on to rescue the laborers trapped in the well. The district administration is also trying to rescue the trapped laborers as soon as possible. The police have been successful in taking out two of these women from the water. However, the tractor trolley and some women are still lying in this well. According to eyewitnesses, the roads were slippery due to rain. Suddenly the tractor's tire slipped near the well, due to which the driver lost control and the tractor fell directly into the well filled with water. The tractor is completely submerged in water, only one tire is visible.

A crane has been called by the local police and other rescue teams to take out the tractor and trolley from the well. At present, it is not clear how many people were in the tractor. After this accident, there was a stir in the area. The women riding on the tractor were residents of Bhuj village of Vasmat taluka of Hingoli district.
