

Ruckus in bengal against Waqf law again, police attacked…
There is a continuous uproar in West bengal over the Waqf Amendment Act. In Murshidabad, on wednesday (9 april 2025), once again stones were pelted on the police. Protesters blocked the National Highway in Suti area, disrupting traffic. When the police reached the spot to handle the situation, the mob started pelting stones at them. Jangipur Superintendent of police Anand Ray said that five people have been detained in connection with the incident in Suti.
Protests are going on in many districts of Bengal
The new Waqf Act has been opposed in different districts of West bengal for the past several days. Earlier on tuesday (8 April), there was a clash between the police and the protesters in Jangipur area. The protesters tried to move forward by breaking the barricades. After this, the police also used mild force. During this, the protesters also set fire to police vehicles.
Live and let live - mamata Banerjee
On the violence during the protest in bengal, cm mamata banerjee said, "You have felt sad about the Waqf, you people should give this message that everyone has to live together. Live and let live. We have 33 percent minorities here, so what will we do, will we expel them? How can we expel them, this is not from today but from history. Earlier India, Pakistan, bangladesh were one, so it is not our fault."
BJP targets mamata Banerjee
BJP leader Dilip Ghosh said, "Whether it is a law passed in parliament or the decision of the supreme Court, there is always an objection from West Bengal. Those who are not citizens of India, including Rohingyas and infiltrators, protest and get the support of mamata Banerjee."
