

1942 Sikhs will go to pakistan, why are these people going?
On the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Diwas (Baisakhi), the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) will send 1942 Sikh devotees to Pakistan. This group will leave from the Shiromani Committee office in amritsar on april 10 and will return to india on april 19. All the devotees have got visas for this. Today many devotees reached the committee office to get their visas and passports.
SGPC thanked the pakistan Embassy
Around 6600 Sikh devotees from all over india are going to visit religious places in pakistan on this occasion. This group will be led by SGPC member Jang Bahadur and deputy leader Bibi Joginder Kaur. This group will celebrate the main ceremony of baisakhi at Gurdwara Shri Panja Sahib Hasan Abdal in pakistan and will visit other gurudwaras. The SGPC has thanked the pakistan Embassy for giving visas to all the devotees.
The group will stay in pakistan for 9 days
Committee official harbhajan singh Vakta said that passports of 1942 devotees were sent to the embassy in Delhi, who have got visas. harbhajan singh said, "On april 10, the group will leave with cheers. It is a matter of pride for us that the devotees will be able to visit their religious places. This group will stay in pakistan for nine days and will pay obeisance at important places related to Sikh history. The enthusiasm of the devotees is worth seeing, because this journey is related to faith and emotions for them."
He said, "In the last few years, it was seen that many devotees did not get visas, due to which their feelings were hurt. This time everyone got visas, for this we thank the indian and Pakistani governments along with the embassy." The happiness of this can be clearly seen among the devotees. Surjeet Singh of Gurdaspur said, "We have got the visa, I am very happy. I had gone in 2022 also and now I am going again. I will visit all the religious places associated with the Guru."
