Minister's appeal to the people - be fully alert in bad weather

Vijay Kumar Mandal said that chief minister Nitish Kumar has also announced compensation, all the deceased will be given a compensation of Rs 4 lakh each. Apart from this, the farmers whose crops have been damaged will be helped by the government.

He said that he is with the affected families in this hour of disaster. He has appealed to the people to be fully alert in bad weather. In case of bad weather, follow the suggestions issued by the Disaster Management Department from time to time. Stay indoors and stay safe.

Possibility of rain in entire bihar tomorrow too, strong winds will blow

Meanwhile, the indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that rain, lightning and thunderstorms are likely to continue in entire bihar till april 12. There is also a possibility of hailstorm and strong winds in some areas. That is, the next 24 hours are also important for Bihar.

The cyclonic circulation arising from the low pressure area over the west-central Bay of bengal is affecting the severe weather pattern. The IMD has also issued an alert for the next five days, cautioning the residents of sensitive districts. The districts likely to be affected are Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Madhepura, Saharsa, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Khagaria, Banka, Munger, Jamui, Sheikhpura, Begusarai, Patna, Nalanda, Nawada, Jehanabad and Gaya.
