

Separatist leader Farida Behanji breaks ties with Hurriyat…
In a series of resignations from the separatist camp, another separatist has left the anti-India organization Hurriyat Conference. This time a female separatist leader has announced to leave the anti-national path and return to the mainstream. Women leader Farida Behanji returns to the mainstream
Farida Behanji said in an affidavit that neither she nor her organization has any connection or affiliation with APHC (G), APHC (A), their constituents or any other group pursuing a separatist or similar agenda. She further clarified that the ideology of APHC does not match with her or her party. She said such platforms have failed to address the legitimate aspirations and grievances of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

She affirmed, "I am a loyal citizen of India". So far 11 organisations have parted ways with Hurriyat
So far 11 constituent parties of the Hurriyat Conference have exited the alliance.
