All the vehicles that caught fire were confiscated by the RTO. The fire in the vehicles confiscated by the RTO created a stir. In this incident, about 15 vehicles were burnt to ashes while the fire department team saved 10 vehicles safely. Three fire brigade vehicles controlled the fire after about half an hour of effort.
According to the fire department officials, these are off-road vehicles. After the deadline was over, these vehicles were confiscated by the RTO department and kept in the storehouse. All these vehicles were parked in the parking lot of the mini Secretariat of Gurugram. On saturday at 3 pm, suddenly smoke started coming out of these vehicles and within no time flames of fire started rising.
After a lot of effort, the fire in the vehicles was controlled
The fire department was informed about the fire in the vehicles, after which one fire engine from Bhim nagar and two fire engines from Sector-29 were immediately sent to the spot. As soon as they reached the spot, the fire department vehicles started extinguishing the fire. According to fire officials, it took about half an hour to control the fire. Initially, those vehicles were saved which were close to the fire and could be saved.
The cause of the fire is not yet known
fire department officials said that the cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet. This matter is being investigated. It will be clear only after the investigation how the fire started. At present, the fire has been completely controlled.
