bjp leader and former mp Kirit Somaiya has lodged a police complaint against illegally installed loudspeakers on 72 mosques in Govandi area of Mumbai. Somaiya took up the issue seriously and said that these loudspeakers have been installed without any legal permission, which is a violation of the rules. After his complaint, the police will start action in the next 72 hours. Kirit Somaiya took this step after visiting shivaji Nagar-Govandi area on Saturday. Somaiya also said that illegal encroachment is being done in the name of mosques.
He said, "I have lodged a complaint in the police station. Unauthorized loudspeakers have been installed on 72 mosques in Govandi, which are without police approval. I have demanded immediate action from the officials on this." He says that this problem is not limited to Govandi only, but such situation is also seen in many other areas of Mumbai. Somaiya has lodged such complaints many times before and has appealed to the administration to take strict action.
Running campaign against illegal loudspeakers
For the last several months, Kirit Somaiya has been active on this issue and is running a campaign against illegal loudspeakers on mosques in various areas of Mumbai. He argues that this is not only a violation of the law, but it also causes trouble to the nearby residents. Somaiya has lodged such complaints before and has demanded strict action from the administration. According to the information received, an investigation can be started in this matter after receiving the complaint.
Issue of infiltrators was also raised
Kirit has been continuously raising his voice on social issues. The bjp leader has also been speaking out against Bangladeshi infiltrators. Somaiya has put forth his point on the public forum after deeply understanding many cases from Akola to Latur. Recently, he came in front of the media and revealed that infiltrators were obtaining birth certificates in india by using fake Aadhaar cards, fake documents and false affidavits.
