PM Modi on Waqf Properties: PM Modi attacked the opposition on the issue of Waqf properties. He said that if Waqf properties were used properly, then Muslim youth would not have to make punctures.
Opposition Reaction to PM Modi Waqf Statement
While addressing a gathering in haryana on monday (April 15), prime minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition on the issue of Waqf. He said that if Waqf properties were used properly, Muslim youth would not have to get punctures. The prime minister alleged that all this is the contribution of Congress, which has only harmed Muslims. He also said that the looting of the poor in the name of Waqf is now going to stop. The opposition has now retaliated to this statement of PM Modi.
AIMIM chief asaduddin owaisi questioned what Modi did for poor indians, Hindus, and Muslims, in the last 11 years. He said, "33% of Indians are living without jobs and education. One of the major reasons for what happened with Waqf properties is the always weak law and administration of Waqf. PM Modi's Waqf amendment will weaken it further."
Imran Pratapgarhi also targeted PM Modi
Congress leader Imran Pratapgarhi said, "I am surprised that the prime minister of the country who advised the youth to fry pakodas is today making fun of punctures. The youth have not been left in a position to repair punctures or fry pakodas." He said that the Muslims of this country do not just repair punctures. They play a big role in the economy of this country.
Abu Azmi's statement also came
Abu Asim Azmi, president of the Samajwadi party in Maharashtra, also gave his reaction on this issue. He countered the PM's statement and said, "If you are saying that a Muslim is repairing punctures, he is no longer poor. My question is that the temple land is 10 lakh acres in four states of South india alone. There are 10 states left. Have you improved the condition of your poor Hindus with this land? Are the poor Hindus not troubled?"
