It is well known that 'Ladki Behan Yojana' was an election ploy of the Mahayuti government. Salaries of government employees were stopped, even innocent children were robbed of their food."
'This is an open fraud with the public'
He further said, "Strict laws should be made against those who commit such open fraud with the public. If governments start forming in this way, the state will sink in debt and the government treasury will become bankrupt. How can a government whose foundation is based on lies do good to the people of Maharashtra?"
Abu Azmi said, it is often heard that votes are bought through money. Before the assembly elections, the maharashtra government hurriedly distributed Rs 2 crore 58 lakh at the rate of Rs 1500 in the name of Ladki Behan Yojana. This is exactly like money is distributed for votes in elections.
'Problem in the salary of government employees'
The maharashtra SP chief claimed that due to the Ladki Behan Yojana, the salaries of government employees were delayed, doctors in hospitals were not paid. Children's mid-day meals were cut.
