Filmy arrest of miscreants who came as guests to the wedding!
Madhya Pradesh police arrested 4 wanted criminals of the infamous Kadiya gang, which has turned weddings across the country into a den of loot, during a wedding ceremony in their own village. This arrest was no less than a film scene - where the police showed alertness and caught 4 infamous faces amidst the happiness of the bride and groom. When the rituals of a wedding were going on in Kadiya village of Rajgarh district on tuesday (April 15), the police raided and arrested Kabir Sansi (24), Rishi Sansi (19), Mohnish Sansi and Rohan Sansi. According to news agency PTI, dozens of serious cases are registered against these criminals in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. 32 criminal cases are registered against Mohnish alone and 16 against Kabir.
This is how the criminals were arrested
The operation was carried out in a very well planned manner under the leadership of Superintendent of police Aditya Mishra. Mishra said that a total of 153 jawans were called from 17 different police stations and deployed in and around the village. A temporary police camp was also set up with facilities like tents, mobile toilets and water tankers.
Some policemen were present in the crowd in plain clothes so that immediate action could be taken as soon as the criminals were identified. Apart from this, banners were put up at various places in the village with pictures of wanted criminals, which helped the common people to remain alert and cooperate with the police. After that, the police arrested four criminals on tuesday night, immediately after the wedding rituals were completed.
search for many absconding criminals continues - police station in-charge
Boda police station in-charge dharmendra Sharma said that the search for more than 50 absconding criminals is still on in Kadiya village. He said, "We are running a comprehensive campaign to catch them."
It is worth noting that many cases of theft and robbery are registered against the Kadiya gang across the country. Last year in August, three members of this gang were caught stealing jewellery worth Rs 1.45 crore from a high-profile wedding in Jaipur. This action is not just an arrest for the police, but is being considered a big victory against organised crime. Now it remains to be seen how quickly the police reaches the remaining members.
