Leader of Opposition Atishi attacks delhi government...

Leader of Opposition in delhi assembly Atishi on tuesday visited Ambedkar Colony of Chhatarpur assembly constituency and talked to local residents about the problem of power cuts. She alleged that the power crisis in delhi is continuously deepening and the current bjp government is responsible for this.

Atishi said, "It has not been even two months since the bjp government came to power in delhi, but the 24-hour power supply system that has been running for the last 10 years has completely collapsed." She alleged that the bjp government is proving to be a complete failure in providing regular power supply in a metropolis like Delhi.

'Power cuts are happening every day'

She also said that the BJP's power minister is constantly lying that there are no power cuts in delhi, while the ground reality is something else. Referring to the situation in Chhatarpur, Atishi said that there are power cuts for several hours every day in the area. She said, "Where electricity and water were available regularly earlier, now electricity goes off several times a day and water comes once in 8-10 days, that too when there is no electricity." During her visit, Atishi also talked to an inverter seller.

'Inverter demand has increased'

The shopkeeper told her that due to increased power cuts in delhi, there has been a sudden increase in the demand for inverters. He said that in the last 10 years, the sale of inverters was negligible, but now due to the power crisis, their demand is increasing tremendously. The aam aadmi party is constantly cornering the bjp government on this issue. The party says that as long as the aam aadmi party government was in power in delhi, people did not have to face problems like power cuts. But as soon as the bjp came to power, Delhiites started facing this problem. According to Atishi, complaints of power cuts are constantly coming from different areas of delhi and the public is very upset.
