UP government's minister of State for women Welfare Vijay Laxmi gautam has now reacted sharply to West bengal chief minister mamata Banerjee's statement about the Uttar Pradesh government and chief minister yogi Adityanath. She described mamata banerjee as a "leader with an anarchist mindset" and said that the way the safety of Hindu and Sanatani daughters-in-law and daughters is in danger in West bengal is extremely worrying, but the government there is silent.
Vijay Laxmi gautam said, "Mamata Banerjee has got into the habit of giving statements that spread anarchy. She wants to spread anarchy in Uttar Pradesh too, but she should know that there is a rule of law in yogi Adityanath's government and lawlessness is dealt with here." She directly accused mamata banerjee that she is targeting Sanatan traditions and Hindu society only for her vote bank politics.
The minister of State also said that "In bengal, daughters-in-law and daughters are being tortured, cases of women harassment come to light every day, but the mamata government is not only careless in such cases but is also busy saving the accused many times." He said that "leaders who are unable to protect women in their state have no moral right to speak on the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh."
This statement has come at a time when West bengal chief minister mamata banerjee commented on the law and order of Uttar Pradesh and the working style of chief minister yogi Adityanath in a public meeting. After this, many leaders of bjp and Uttar Pradesh government described mamata Banerjee's statement as "provocative" and "beyond reality". mamata banerjee gives false statements to shine politics Vijay Laxmi gautam also said that "If there is an example of women's safety and respect in the country today, then it is Uttar Pradesh. Campaigns like Mission shakti have increased the confidence of daughters, but leaders like mamata banerjee give false statements only to shine politics."
