

Infosys co-founder Narayan Murthy's 17-month-old grandson Ekaagra Rohan Murthy is going to get Rs 3.3 crore from the company's final dividend for the financial year ended march 2025. Ekaagra Narayan Murthy is the son of sudha Murthy's son Rohan Murthy and his wife Aparna Krishnan. Ekaagra holds 15 lakh shares of Infosys, which is equivalent to 0.04 percent stake in the company. Narayan Murthy gifted these shares to Ekaagra when he was four months old. At that time the market value of these shares was more than Rs 240 crore.
Infosys announces final dividend
On Thursday, Infosys announced a final dividend of Rs 22 per share. Now since Ekaagra has 15 lakh shares, he will get Rs 3.3 crore from dividend payment. With this, his income from dividend so far will be Rs 10.65 crore. Born in Bengaluru in november 2023, Ekaagra Rohan Murthy is the third grandson of Narayan Murthy and sudha Murthy. He also has two granddaughters - krishna and Anushka, who are the daughters of Akshata Murthy and british Prime minister Rishi Sunak.

At the age of just 1 year and 5 months, Ekaagra is one of the youngest millionaires in India. Ever since he received the company's shares as a gift, Infosys also announced three dividends at the rate of Rs 49 per share. On this basis, he received Rs 7.35 crore as interim payment at the beginning of the year.
Narayan Murthy's daughter Akshata Murthy owns 3.89 lakh shares of the company, i.e. 1.04 percent stake in the company. He will also get Rs 85.71 crore from Infosys' final dividend. Narayan Murthy himself will get Rs 33.3 crore from dividend, while his wife sudha Murthy will get Rs 76 crore. The record date for getting the dividend has been fixed as May 30 and the payment will be made on june 30.
