

Arif Mohammad Khan, governor of Bihar, has given a big statement regarding the violence that erupted in Murshidabad recently against the Waqf Amendment Act. On sunday in Patna, he has cited the Quran for the punishment given to the culprits in the Murshidabad case. The governor said that it is written in the Quran that whoever works to divide people will be punished. He said, whatever the situation, whoever tries to divide people, it is written in the Quran that he will be punished.
He lashed out at the leaders of the Muslim community
At a program of All india United Muslim Front in Patna, he said that the Quran talks about severe punishment for those who divide Muslims in the name of religion and sentiments. During this, the governor launched a scathing attack on the leaders of the Muslim community and the Waqf Board. The governor raised questions on the misuse of Waqf properties and said, "Waqf land was meant for the welfare of poor Muslims, but malls, hospitals and commercial centres have been built there.
He also attacked the looting going on in the Waqf Board
He asked whether the Waqf Board has built any school for the children of the poor in the last 20-25 years? The gap between rich and poor Muslims in the society is constantly increasing. Children of rich Muslims study abroad, but children of poor Muslims are still studying in madrasas. He said that those who are opposing this Waqf law want to continue the looting of Waqf properties.
