vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on monday (April 21) staged a strong protest outside the DM office in Jamnagar House, delhi, against the alleged atrocities on Hindus in West Bengal. The protesters raised slogans like 'Dismiss mamata government', 'Impose President's rule', 'Save bengal, save democracy' and 'Hindustan will not tolerate insult to Hindus'. VHP workers gathered in large numbers with saffron flags in the protest and expressed anger against the West bengal government. vishwa Hindu Parishad's delhi province minister Surendra Gupta said, "In Murshidabad, West bengal, Hindus' houses are being burnt in the name of Waqf law and they are being forced to migrate." Accusing mamata banerjee of failing to fulfill Rajdharma, he demanded the central government to impose President's rule.

VHP protests at 12 places in Delhi

VHP's delhi province minister Surendra Gupta informed, 'This protest is being held not only in New delhi but also at the DM offices of 12 districts of delhi simultaneously so that the attention of the whole country can be drawn towards this serious issue.''

Women also raised their voice                  

women also participated in the VHP protest. A female protester named Sangeeta said, "What is happening with Hindu families in bengal is very unfortunate and we have come to protest against it." Kusum Srivastava said, "The atrocities being committed against women are a matter of shame for the entire humanity. Being a woman, showing insensitivity towards another woman is wrong. Every indian should protest against this."

Comments on religious and social issues too

During the protest, VHP leaders also commented on issues related to Islamic Sharia. He said, "Getting henna applied by non-Mahram men is against Sharia. Those Muslims who are promoting 'love jihad' by applying henna to Hindu women should be stopped."
