Samajwadi party chief akhilesh yadav on sunday said that the opposition 'India' alliance will continue in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Addressing a press conference, Yadav said that in the 2027 assembly elections, 'PDA (Backward, Dalit and Minority) will uproot bjp from the state.' When he was asked about the 'India' alliance, he reiterated, 'The 'India' alliance (existing) is and will remain.'
Deputy cm Keshav prasad Maurya reacted to his statement. He wrote that whether SP, BSP, congress fight together or separately, the lotus had bloomed, the lotus will bloom again! bjp will repeat 2017 in 2027 - once again cross 300! No riots, no mafia rule, no hooliganism, no corruption - for the third time, bjp government with a massive majority! He said, 'BJP has brought Waqf Amendment Act so that it can snatch land. Wherever they see land, they occupy it.' He termed bjp as 'land mafia party'.
Yadav accused the ruling party of snatching people's money through demonetisation and GST (Goods and services Tax) and reducing the right to reservation. Yadav also criticised BJP's functioning in connection with the organisation of maha Kumbh in Prayagraj and promised to investigate the 'mismanagement' if his party comes to power.
Wrong figures given in Kumbh - Akhilesh
The SP chief claimed that the government gave wrong figures about the number of casualties and financial gains during the event, and alleged that drone and CCTV surveillance failed during the stampede in January.
Yadav claimed, “When drones and CCTVs were needed the most (during the stampede), they were either switched off or were shut down. They did not reveal the correct number of people killed in the stampede at Sangam Nose and pressurised the families to change the cause of death.” On being asked about SP mp Ramji Lal Suman’s statement on Rana Sanga, he said, “The history that shows each other superior and inferior, the history that hinders our progress, that history should be allowed to remain history.”
