The countrymen are demanding strict action against the terrorists. Former maharashtra government minister Anil Deshmukh has expressed grief over this terrorist attack. He said that whoever is behind this terrorist attack, they should be identified and strict action should be taken. On wednesday (23 April), Anil Deshmukh said that tourists had gone to pahalgam in kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir for a visit. The attack on them is a very sad incident. Tourists from other states including maharashtra were also in Pahalgam.
Anil Deshmukh further said that who carried out this terrorist attack, it should be investigated strictly and the truth should come out in front of everyone. I believe that such attacks should not happen.

Anil Deshmukh posted on the social media platform 'X'. He wrote in the post, "The cowardly attack on tourists in pahalgam, kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir is disgusting. I strongly condemn this cowardly terrorist attack. Heartfelt tribute to the tourists killed in this attack. We share the grief of their families, and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured tourists." In the second post, Anil Deshmukh was seen talking to the people of nagpur district who are stranded in Srinagar. Anil Deshmukh said that I have talked to those people. They are currently safe in a hotel in Srinagar. I have personally spoken to the administration and given information about these families. I have also requested the state government to bring them back safely.
