The last journey of the well-recognized Marshal of the Indian Air Force Arjan Singh began today to honor his serve for the country.His mortal remains was taken on a gun carriage to the Brar Square for conducting last rituals with state respects and honours.
He is recognized as one of finest soldiers of India, Singh.He has an outstanding service graph ,he led Indian Air Force during the 1965 crucial India-Pakistan war.He breathed his last on Saturday following a cardiac arrest.At his age 98, he passed away.
All head and senior officers of all the three services were present at the Brar Square .Many other political leaders including former Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh and senior BJP veteran L K Advani.President Ram Nath Kovind andHonourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Arjan Singh's residence yesterday and paid their glowing tributes to the war hero.Arjan singh was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian honour, in 1965.
