The Election Commission has been keenly monitoring cash flows in all constituencies as the Lok Sabha elections are approaching on April 11. Besides the SC constituencies are also being closely monitored by the EC. CBN controlled Telugu Desam Party and their opposition YSR Congress Party is engaged in a tough fight as they are using all means to lure voters and get their votes.
They are doing door to door campaign, provide food, and some parties are even indulging in distribution of cash for votes especially TDP. Now the biggest changeover is that the constituencies reserved for SC also have politically influential and rich candidates and also from government employee families.
Of the total 175 constituencies, 28 are SC reserved assembly constituencies. While YSRCP has announced six MLAs, TDP has fielded 12 MLAs of which there are two ministers. The 25 Lok Sabha seats of AP will undergo single phase polling on April 11.
