Kasi is the perfect place to spend the last days; Akhilesh teases about Modi's visit.

Kasi: Samajwadi party chief akhilesh yadav has slammed Modi's visit to Kashi as the best place to spend his last term.

Assembly elections are scheduled for march next year in seven states, including Uttar Pradesh.

Following this, the election campaign has now begun to weed out Uttar Pradesh, India's first politically important state. The three parties, including the Congress, Samajwadi party and bjp, are in a three-way contest.

In this context, prime minister Modi yesterday (Dec. 13) morning attended the inauguration of the kasi Vishwanathar temple in his home constituency of Varanasi. He then took a dip in the Ganges.
Journalists questioned Samajwadi party leader akhilesh yadav, who was campaigning in Uttar Pradesh.
Responding to this, he said, "Prime minister Modi can lie to you and me, but it is not possible to tell God." It's the place for them to stay.

 Generally, Hindus want to spend their last days in Kashi '. Thus Akhilesh was indirectly critical. This is currently the subject of controversy.

It is noteworthy that many members of the bjp have strongly condemned this.
