Among all the Hindu gods or goddesses, the Shakti goddesses are the most colorful, both literally and figuratively. They are in very diverse forms and nature. They are supposed to be the oldest and the most powerful. They are the most ubiquitous gods or goddesses and are worshiped in all villages. Even in Hindu mythology we find mention of Shakti everywhere.
Maha Kali is undoubtedly the most ferocious Hindu god / goddess. With ten heads with protruding reddish tongues, ten arms carrying weapons and a severed head in one of the hands, a garland of heads, and standing on Shiva, Kali makes one wonder whether she is really a goddess.
When we accept the devastation that has occurred in
our life, Shakti takes command. Since the society thinks that we are great
liability to it, Shakti would ensure that no one even thinks of harming us.
Since we are in desperation, our needs would be enormous.
