Vaikunta Ekadashi: Today is Vaikuntha Ekadashi.. Fasting time for devotees, important notes here.

The benefits of Vaikuntha Ekadashi are believed to be indescribable. The sins we have committed up to that day are forgiven when we cross the steps of the Paramapadam Gate which is opened once a year in the temples of Perumal and serve Perumal.

It is believed that Vaikuntha will have the energy and resources needed for the future and the liberation from this worldly afterlife and that the reason we have this privilege is because of the two demons, Madhu and Kaidapar.

Ekadashi Tithi is ideal for Perumal. Ekadasi Thidhis coming in both the seasons of waxing and waxing are special. Muran, a monster who lived in mythological times, persecuted gods and humans.

At the request of the gods, Mahavishnu fought with Murana and his forces. All of Muran's forces were completely destroyed. It is believed that Perumal, who wanted to give Muran a chance, went to rest for a while and slept in a cave.

But Muran, who did not understand it, came to overthrow Perumal and an armed female angel emerged from Perumal who was sleeping at that time. She smirked at Murana with her hoarseness.

Then Perumal woke up and called her Ekadasi. It is believed that the day of her appearance was auspicious for her and that she blessed herself with all the sins if she fasted on that day.

So today fasting on Ekadasi and worshipping Perumal is believed to be an important religious event.
