On june 22 this year, a three-year-old boy named kaushik was attacked by a leopard. After Kaushik's family members screamed, the leopard left the boy at some distance. A few days after this incident, on august 11 this year, a girl named Lakshita was attacked. Lakshita was killed in the cheetah attack. ttd was alerted by the incident of the target's death. Hand sticks are offered to the devotees coming along the tirumala walkway. ttd officials say that forest animals can be tackled with hand sticks. On the other hand, care is being taken to avoid any trouble for the devotees on the walkway. More than five hundred trap cameras have been installed along the two walkways. Observing the movements of cheetahs. ttd intends to construct a 7.2 km long iron fence along the Alipiri walkway. There are eight thousand acres of forest in this area. Proposals have been sent from the Forest Department to install an iron fence on the walking path. However, once the approval is received from the Forest Department, the ttd officials will install the iron fence.
