Mahakal's royal procession, devotees get darshan in 7 forms!!!


Baba Mahakal's royal procession will be taken out tomorrow on september 2 in Shravan-Bhado. A large number of devotees will gather to take the blessings of Lord Mahakal in the royal procession. Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia can also come to ujjain tomorrow. Ganesh Kumar Dhakad, administrator of Mahakaleshwar temple Management Committee, gave information about the minute to minute program. He told that the second and last procession of Bhadrapada month will be taken out with royal pomp on september 2.


Baba Mahakal will give darshan to the devotees in seven different forms. According to Shri Ganesh Kumar Dhakad, Shri Chandramouleshwar in silver palanquin, Shri manmohan on elephant, Shivtandav on Garuda chariot, Uma-Mahesh on Nandi chariot and Mukharvind of Holkar State on Dola chariot, Shri Ghatatop Mukhota Swaroop and Shri Saptdhan's Mukharvind will be included in the seventh procession. Tomorrow, Lord Shri Chandramouliswara will be worshipped in the Sabhamandap of Mahakaleshwar temple. After the worship, Lord Mahakal will go on a city tour to know the condition of the people, riding on a silver palanquin. He told that an armed salute will be given to Lord Shri Chandramouliswara seated in the palanquin at the main gate of the temple.

Shri Chandramouliswara's palanquin will start at the scheduled time of 4 pm and will reach Ramghat via Kot Mohalla, Gudri Chauraha, Bakshibazaar Chauraha, Kahar Wadi, Harsiddhipal. Ganesh Kumar Dhakad told that the Scindia family worships Lord Mahakal's palanquin every year at the Dwarkadhish Gopal temple. Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will worship the palanquin when it reaches Gopal temple. After that, the royal procession will reach the temple premises via Patni Bazaar, Gudri Chauraha, Kot Mohalla, Mahakal Chauraha.


The temple's promotional vehicle will run in the front of the procession of Lord Mahakaleshwar's main procession. Behind the campaign vehicle, traffic police, gunners, Lord Mahakaleshwar's silver flag, horsemen, special armed forces, salute guard, scout guide members, congress Seva Dal, Seva Samiti band, 70 bhajan troupes from different cities will march in the procession singing the praises of the Lord. After that, saints and common people, police band, nagar Sena salute guard contingent, priests and purohits of Shri Mahakaleshwar temple will accompany the royal procession.
