Adulteration in Tirupati's laddus is a violation of Hindu faith...
Tirupati tirumala Devasthanam is a symbol of faith of crores of Sanatanis living not only in india but also abroad. Laddus are given as prasad in this temple of Lord Venkateshwara. About 3 lakh laddus are made and distributed every day. Now a big controversy has erupted over the alleged use of substandard material and animal fat in those laddus. tdp, which came to power by ousting jagan Reddy's party, claimed in a press conference on Thursday, september 19, that the lab in gujarat where the laddus were sent for testing has confirmed adulteration. tdp spokesperson claimed that cow and pig fat was found in the ghee sample. However, jagan Reddy's party has called this entire matter politically motivated and said that nothing like this has happened during his rule, while congress has demanded a cbi inquiry.
Tampering with the faith of Hindus
Opposition parties have generally termed Jaganmohan Reddy's rule as anti-Hindu. It was jagan who had stopped the supply of Nandini ghee in tirupati and asked for the supply of ghee from some other supplier. The government's argument behind this was that since Nandini had not given the quotation as per the tender, they were removed. However, when the power changed in Telangana, actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan had said that there are many irregularities in ttd (Tirupati tirumala Devasthanam) and they will be investigated. An investigation was conducted and this scam in prasad was found. It is not even right to call it a scam, it is a heinous crime. This kind of tampering with the faith of crores of Hindus is unprecedented, heinous and worrying. No amount of condemnation of this will be enough. Having cow and pig fat in prasad and offering it to the idol is a serious crime and that is why when pawan kalyan says that he has taken cognizance of this matter and further action will be taken, then the majority of Hindu people stand with him. The deputy chief minister of the state has advocated the formation of Sanatan Raksha Board. He has said that it should be formed at the central level and it should solve all the problems arising from Hindu temples.
