Actually, bollywood actress mamta Kulkarni has kept a distance from the film industry for years. Meanwhile, she got inclined towards spirituality. After which mamta Kulkarni reached maha Kumbh on friday and she renounced worldly attachments and took the initiation of sanyaas from Kinnar Akhara. Before this, she performed Pind Daan for herself with full rituals.
The initiation process of her sanyaas took place for about two hours on the banks of Sangam. During this time many big saints and Mahamandaleshwars were also present there. In the evening, her Pattabhishek took place under the leadership of acharya Mahamandaleshwar lakshmi Narayan Tripathi of Kinnar Akhara. After which her name was changed to Shrayamai mamta Nand Giri. mamta Kulkarni said that what could be bigger for me than that my Pattabhishek was done by the hands of Ardhanareshwar lakshmi Narayan Tripathi.
mamta Kulkarni said that she has done a lot of penance to become Mahamandaleshwar. She has stayed away from films for the last 23 years and has been on a religious journey. She said that now she will never return to bollywood and will move forward on the path of religion.
